Day 2 - Coyoacán & Roma

Day 2 Stats

Eat

Breakfast from a hole in the wall bakery that we wandered by

Lunch at Mercado de Coyoacán - there are lots of food stalls. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

Ice Cream at El Kiosko de Coyoacán

Pastries at Panaderia Rosetta

Dinner at Rincón Roma. We were looking for street tacos, but they didn't have something everyone could have to we when to the sit-down restaurant right behind it. ($46)

Do

Frida Kahlo Museum - definitely worth a visit ($15/person)

Explore Coyoacán: Mercado de Coyoacán, Mercado Artesanal Mexicano, Jardin Hidalgo & Centenario, Parroquia San Juan Bautista

Explore Roma Norte along Colima Street. It would have been nice to spend more time in Roma Norte but we had spent much of the day in Coyoacán.

Lucha Libre - this was really fun. I think it's more gymnastics than any wrestling but it's super entertaining. $110 ($22/person)

Getting Around

Uber: $43. One of our traveling companions was recovering from a sprained knee so we used Ubers wherever possible. For 5 people these were pretty good deals.

to Coyacan- $12 / from Coyacan - $16

to Roma - $6.40 /from Arena Mexico -  $8.60

Walk: 13,325 steps/5.2 miles
