Day 4 Itinerary - Right Bank & The Marais
A.
Les Passages couverts de Paris
There are several beautiful interior shopping arcades, built in the early 1800's, located mostly on the Right Bank of the Seine. They're definitely worth seeking out in any exploration of Paris.

B.
Trois Musées: Le Centre Pompidou, Musée des Archives, & Musée Carnavalet
From the Passages, we wander down to Rue Rambuteau and pass by the modern Pompidou Center (built in 1977) and then we peek into the courtyard of the Musée des Archives Nationales (started around 1677). We spend a few hours at the Musée Carnavalet, dedicated to the history of the city of Paris.

C.
Place des Vosges & Palais Royal
As we walk around the arcade that surrounds the Place des Voges, it starts to rain and then it starts to pour. We wait out the downpour underneath the famous arches. The rain doesn't look like it's going to stop so we head home. Our itinerary for the day was going to include La Coulée Verte (a linear park built atop a former railway) and Notre Dame (which still hadn't reopened after the 2019 fire yet). After a quick rest stop, we walk to the nearby Palais Royal.

D.
Musée du Louvre
After dinner, I head over to the nearby Louvre for some night photographs.
